Currently at 22 STR to wield the purple shield. I keep coming across posts claiming that the crushing path is amazing, but looking at the planner even at 50 STR crushing +5 only offers 17 more damage than basic +10 (341 vs 324).The Greatsword and Great Axe are very slow, and harder to use. They also have high stat requirements. The Claymore is nice because it has lower stat requirements, and Faith builds don't want to put too much into unnecessary stats. Later, as an awakened being, she ...So claymore is good I use claymore in every souls game it's a bit of a problem lol BUT I am not a huge fan of the claymore in demons, it's a little slow and I don't particularly like the move set because of lack of reach though it's very good regardless, if you're used to the quick swipes of the longsword it will take some adjusting, But whichever one you think is cooler is the one to use.
